We're now at day 3 of filming Episode VIII in Dubrovnik and it's getting more interesting (the weather is still moody though). Unlike first day (wednesday) when they only did rehearsal shooting and none of it on Stradun (main street), second day (thursday) of shooting was done on a boat in calm waters outside the city!

The yacht Sea Star was docked in old city harbour and crew was loading props and lights. You can see green screen on several photos. The ship then sailed out of harbour and the filming started, including stunt action onboard.

We found out no main actors are currently in Dubrovnik, and Stradun set is being digitally scanned to replicate in english studio. As far as we know, landspeeder chase and collisions with a couple of stunts will be filmed here.

One of the scenes includes stunt action in front of Dominican monastery. The actor was running down the stairs, away from someone (something) and at one moment he jumped (or was force pushed) over the fence:

Fan blog SWNN reports Rey is coming to Dubrovnik, not Daisy Ridley but her stunt double. On first day of filming there were some roumors Ridley (Rey) and Hamil (Luke) were spotted on set, but our source in production denied that. However, there is someone coming... more on that later.
